Our Mission

Serve Greater Baltimore seeks to partner with ministries and organizations that serve our community.

Our Vision

Our vision is that Christ would bring healing, renewal and peace to Baltimore and our surrounding communities through his people.

Our Approach

We support ministries, non-profits, and organizations who are working for the healing of our city. We are not looking to start new organizations, but aim to support those who are effectively pouring themselves out in the city. We do this by mobilizing a large volunteer base to meet the needs of the poor and marginalized and by assisting with the material needs.

We seek to do this in three ways:

1. We partner with organizations in the city who would benefit from additional volunteers and resources.
2. We match volunteers with organizations in the city. We actively seek eager volunteers who desire to work toward the healing and the good of the city.
3. We oversee and organize Serve the City Baltimore (STC) to raise up a new generation of volunteers. STC events are catalytic service plunges designed to mobilize volunteers to give a specific amount of time. At STC events, we introduce volunteers to great organizations and then help volunteers form ongoing service relationships in the city.
