Patrick Donohue – Executive Director
Patrick has overseen Serve Greater Baltimore (SGB) since 2007. After being inspired by a week long service trip with Serve the City Brussels the summer before. Since its beginning Patrick has been instrumental in helping grow the program into what it is today. Patrick works to connect SGB with other organizations while maintaining a full time job at Chapelgate Presbyterian Church.
Brian Wilcox - Design & Media Management Intern
As Serve the City Baltimore (STC) was just starting up, Brian was oversees interning with Serve the City Brussels. Already knowing the Serve the City system and bringing an array of media and design skills to the table, Brian has been a great fit since he officially joined the team in 2010. Originally getting involved through STC, Brian has quickly latched onto Serve Greater Baltimore’s (SGB) programmatic model, working now with both STC & SGB. Trevin Hoekzema – Programmatic Development Intern
New to Serve Greater Baltimore (SGB), Trevin, is no newcomer to the Serve the City Network. Having served in Brussels and interned in South Africa, Trevin now works to plan events and grow SGB & Serve The City Baltimore’s (STC) volunteer base . A Community Economic Development major at the University of Maryland, this rising senior has high hopes for what the community of Baltimore could become. Jessica Bates – Administrative Volunteer
Occasionally managing Serve Greater Baltimore’s (SGB) administrative work, Jessica is most passionate about Serve the City Baltimore (STC). Since STC began Jessica has been on board. From helping plan events to organizing food donations, she has been a major contributor making STC Baltimore events happen. Working full time with the youth program at Chapelgate Presbyterian Church, Jessica still finds time to make sure STC events go off flawlessly.
Charis Hagan - Program Coordinator
Charis has been a key volunteer with Serve the City Baltimore since its beginning. In 2009, Charis traveled to Europe to volunteer with Serve the City Brussels and will return this summer to volunteer with Serve the City Dublin. Currently, Charis is pursing a Master’s Degree in Counseling from McDaniel College. She hopes to put her training to good use, serving the needy and marginalized in Baltimore.
Cindy Crown – Volunteer Community Partner Coordinator
Cindy was a part of the initial vision of Serve Greater Baltimore. Her desire is to see communities in the city experience healing and transformation through the volunteerism of people from various groups, neighborhoods and organizations. Cindy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in 2000. Her focus is coordinating community partnerships for Serve Greater Baltimore.
